Re: Attack on Karachi Airport
Seems they do not have any equipment in Pak to deal with emergencies at all.
Any money that was alloted for these things has been gobbled up, thanks to people of corruptistan.
any pride we had left being of Pakistani origin seems to vanish day by day....the country is just one failure after another, absolutely no regard
for any human life. I'm glad I moved out.
kab tak loag mertay rahaingay, while these looters and so-called leaders and all will keep gobbling up money and growing their personal business
with India and others.

That's the fact that we don't have money for any equipment needed in an emergency and also where people don't even have clean water to drink but PM have money to buy armored bmws costing 126 million pkr and sniffer dogs for 2.4 million.

On the visit to the airport the chief minister stated tht it's not his responsibility to rescue the trapped people. These rulers are not even humans.
Re: Attack on Karachi Airport
if a genuine inquiry is held and made public, i'm sure heads at highest level will roll and it will be crystal clear as to who, when and where failed the 'awaam.
Re: Attack on Karachi Airport
one question:
if military solution was viable, don't you think Pak army would have gone all out to wipe them off?
they carried out an operation in Swat, they cleared the area after the Talibans had already escaped to a safer place.
as long as there are safe heavens inside or across the border in AfGhanistan, they keep moving around. they are like air in a balloon...you squeeze one end, the air moves to the other end and causes a bigger bulge there.
the solution is to punch a hole in the balloon and let the air scape in the space...no place to return to.

I see every second person throwing this nauseating cliché around as if they're commenting on latest addition of Call of Duty. What does it even mean? Carpet bombing of Karachi/FATA? We're not talking about trench warfare in a no man's land where armies can afford to 'go all out' and come home.
Really I don't see the point of such rhetorical gimmickry. You know it, I know it and the entire world knows that Pakistani military posses the weaponry, man power and even the will to go 'all out there', but is it really the most viable solution? An mega international effort was made to go 'all out in Afghanistan' in to defeat the same creatures, but the end results is for everyone to see.
I understand that there's going to be endless cries coming out of knee jerk reaction, but some of the sane minds must make effort to realise that last three months had been the most peaceful Pakistan had ever seen since the intensification of the war nearly ten years ago. So really, without going 'all out' to please the excited spectators, Pakistan army must be doing something right to achieve that feat. The war hasn't concluded yet, but Pakistan sure has the upper hand. The army is certainly getting its way both by negotiations and strikes.
During the course of active war in Afghanistan and Iraq, most of the high profile areas and targets in Western world had been on high alert. Same was the case with Karachi Airport, it is the failure of local security and management that turned into a catastrophe. All this could have been avoided.
The people whose only intention is to create a panic, confusion, mistrust and defeatism amongst Pakistanis need to back off! This is not how wars are won.
Re: Attack on Karachi Airport
Lanat on CAA who did not allow the wall to be demolished. What was so important abut the wall. All these morons should be charged with murder.
Re: Attack on Karachi Airport
question is will there be any accountability? these kind of incidents keep happening n no action takes place and after sometimes everyone forgets and then things repeat again.
ppl saying baray nuksan se bach gai, really ppl who have lost their loved ones, un k lye tu sub khatm ho gaya.
its shame first an accident happens and then things get worse because of negligence.
has anyone listened to DG CAA, the biggest lier of this world I heard his press conference he telling seems like terrorist killed them and then locked them in cold storage. I wanted to get into TV and slap him.
Re: Attack on Karachi Airport
Express TV is showing that there are still lot of people trapped, and no one is trying to rescue them ... relatives are crying and asking for help, but officials have stopped them ... and I think Nisar is having meeting so all are briefing him and no one is caring about rescue.
These elected rascals do not even thinking that briefing could be delayed but to save life is important.
It is really sad ... but this is probably what Pakistanis love in the name of democrazy of liars, looters and plunderers.

Re: Attack on Karachi Airport
there has been another attempt by up to 4 terrorists to enter the Karachi Airport from the Pahelwan Goth area. They attacked at ASF camp. they escaped after being challenged by ASF. The airport operation was suspended but resumed later.
