The real solution was with the guy like Naseer Ullah Khan Babar ( PPP have shamed itself by getting Rehman Malik on seat of this guy), he knows how to tackle such situations both with the iron fist and with the olive branch... i believe the right person for the right job is not done, BLA or any other terrorist groups will continue their murdering exercise and Govt have its full share in getting the innocents killed...
Wrong. Perhaps N$ when come in power should try this. Wait a second, he got no balls. This is just like General Amir Abdullah Khan Niazi, great uncle of Imran Khan, then Shere Punjab tried your above formula, and gave Bangladesh in the gift. In later years he formed a political party and used to say:
"yeh bc kehtay hain, zinda to ghazi, mar gaay to shaheed, hatheyar daalay to general Niazi". Keep such kind of shameful analysis with in N$ and your domain. Comparing Karachi with Baluchistan like comparing PML(N) with donkeys.:)
Accurate analysis !4. Hardened and insensitive hearts of people from other parts of Pakistan, and in some cases some sadists actually enjoying the ethnic cleansing. Even on this forum, we can find lots of people supporting the Baloch terrorists citing the "Baloch Rights".
what do you think Baluchistan is? kya yeh badshah salamat ki jaagir hay? When you don't understand people with different cultures and background, silence is the best option. No one enjoys or supports here merciless killings of innocent people belonging to any ethnicity, culture, sect or religion.
And what has the PPP done? So far nothing. Nada. Zilch.
Wait yes they have done one thing. Rob the country blind.
sahih kaha aap ne, kare koi bharay koi aor. You remind me of great Bhutto, during his time when roads had pot holes after heavy rains, or some one had cramps in his stomach, they used to bark "yeh Bhattoo ka fault hay" Keep it up that stupid ideology.
^ taliban are also "in a way" asking for devolution of power from the state to them, so do you support them too ?
The Taliban don't have anything to do with this discussion on Baluchistan.
Even if you want to use the Taliban analogy, I'll say this: They have a lot more grassroots support in Afghanistan than the Karzai government and please let me know how well the US led alliances efforts to crush the Taliban have turned out?
We need a political solution for Baluchistan where the Centre chokes off the areas of grievances and provides support towards political reform so that BLA and other foreign supported entities no longer have the moral support from the people of Baluchistan.

I was talking about TTP and one can give exactly the same arguments that BLA guys give. They are also working for more "devolution of power" from the state to them. Though in a way we don't like, but thats exactly the same argument as BLA.

That is correct. As far as I can tell, other than some factions of Balochs, these terrorists have no sympathy from people in general in Balochistan for a number of reasons, not the least of which is the destruction of business.

You can not conflate the BLA with the TTP, although both have support from external sources, the TTP has a stated agenda of taking over the Pakistani state, the ENTIRE state. More importantly TTP has nowhere near the level of local support as the BLA. Also, Baluchistan has had insurgencies since 1948, mostly stemming from the lack political and economic support for the province.
You can not marginalize an entire ethnic group within the federation and expect things to be quiet. 1971 was the last time we heard calls of crushing an entire province, do you want a repetition of that fiasco?

No do tell what has the PPP government done to make the situation in Balochistan better? Because it has gotten worse during their 5 years in power.
