Who wants unity with these people?
First, this is a brazen attack and shows how tenuous Pakistan’s government is. I hope that Pakistan lives up to its rhetoric and crushes the terrorists. If they can attack the army HQ they have free rein to attack anywhere in Pakistan.
The notion that India is involved in this is ridiculous. India is secular nation which is 80+% Hindu and has a Sikh prime minister. Islamic fundamentalists are killing themselves and others in the name of Islam because they believe they will get a one way ticket to heaven and 72 virgin sex slaves for serving a secular, predominantly Hindu nation with a Sikh leader? 
“If” India is involved this is a clear cut act of war. If India is involved expect full scale war within a week or two. Does anyone believe the Pak military would allow India to attack its HQ and not do anything?
Yeah, their game plan is to support Islamic fundamentalists in the hope of triggering a nuclear war. If this is their goal why not just lob a few missiles into Islamabad and Lahore and get it started quickly and easily?
Pakistan must stand firm. Anytime you give in to terrorists they will come back with more demands. Hasn’t Pakistan learned this lesson yet given the failure of several “peace deals” with terrorists?

If anyone thinks that India is involved is seriously in complete denial of looking into actual on-hand issues of Pakistan. It is very easy to point fingers at India/US then accepting the fact that there are brainwashed barbaric people and yes most of them are actually sadly Pakistanis. This is our own doing.... these groups of people with specific agenda who would plan out an attack on military in day time openly front of whole world.
What's happening now with rest of the hostages?

RAWALPINDI: Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR) has released the pictures of two terrorists who attacked on GHQ early Saturday.
According to ISPR pictures of the two of the four terrorists, involved in attack on GHQ, have been released.
One of the four terrorists, killed during the attack was suicide bomber. His picture has also been released.
May these terrorists rot in hell. Some are even accusing blackwater of training militants in Pakistan to carry out such terrorist attacks.
NWFP is calling for army action in Southern Punjab too where it believes ‘terrorists are trained and sent to other parts of the country’.

Reason I feel you are an Indian masquerading around as an American of Pakistani origin. So much hatred for Pakistan can only come from an Indian fascist.
What would be the point of that? I want Pakistan to survive by crushing the terrorists. That is "hating" Pakistan? The true haters of Pakistan are the Islamists who want to drag Pakistan back to first chaos and then the 9th century.

I have seen your other posts in this section. Hence the general observation being pointed out here that I felt that you were an Indian. I have never seen such bitterness and blatant hatred before. Well if you are indeed a well wishing individual and do want to see Pakistan crushing these terrorists then I am happy to be made aware of this.

Pakistan is not going to crush terrorists until direct and indirect institutional support of terrorist activities is stopped by them. Most of the terrorist bombings around Pakistan can be traced to one of three reasons:
- religious sectarian shia/sunni being the most but there are some other cases as well)
- provincial autonomy & separatism
- women scorned syndrom (ie terrorist groups previously partners of agencies suddenly being told to stop)

the indian embassy was attacked a few days ago so it could be tit for tat. it could be the US. but one thing for sure is that pakistanis carried out the attack

Pakistan did the right thing in turning on these SOBs. In the long term, such an anti terrorsits policy is in Pakistans best intrest.
