I am sure you must be in your teens right now as you don't know what happened in 80s. I suggest you do some googl-ing and wikipedia-ing to find out who created Talibans, who funded it and why. Going through this meterial will really help.
oh and also dont forget to read about who trained and brought Usama from SA to Afghanistan....

The Forces that fought the Soviets was a loose alliance of tribal warlords, foreign fighters, secular and religious extremists.
Just like the loose coalition that the Chinese formed to fight the Japanese from 1931-1945.
The Taliban were formed in 1992 as Pakistan wanted to secure Afghanistan for trade links with Central Asia.
USA supported the Forces that fought the Soviets just as the Soviets and Chinese armed the Viet Cong during the Vietnam War and the North Korean Army during the Korean War.
Or just as Pakistan funded militants in Afghanistan and Kashmir in the 1990s.
Don't blame USA for all the problems.
