I personally know so many people who's income hasnt risen and are struggling to buy even the basic stapples... Everyone you talk to says that inflation is out of control.. So Suhaib, why should we believe you or anyone who says otherwise when all of us know the ground reality is totally different?

Purchasing power HAS NOT risen... I dont know anyone who is from the poorer segments of the society whos income has gone up...
If it has, it hasnt kept pce with inflation, so that completely negates whatever little increase there was...

Motor cycles and cars and all these things are being bought by the upper middle class and rich.. The cast majority of the people still cant afford to buy cars...
Get this through you head, the economy has only benefited a few people, approximately 10 percent of the population... Those people can afford cars and motorcycles...
MANY economists of note have already pointed out the lop sided growth of income distribution in PAK, except your to blind love of the dictator prevents you from thinking...
You keep pointing out you JP Morgan garbage, but they only say that Pak economy has grown, but they dont mention how lop sided that growth has been and how much income disparity has grown!
And its not my "lies" its the lies" of actual economists and people who study the Pak economy and all those who are on the ground to see things for themselves...

Overall Pakistan seems to have done well (average). But if we break this down - 25% poorest are worse off, 25% richest are better off and the balance 50% are as were.
To claim that the country on the whole has progressed - is correct, but unfortunately it is also correct that the poor are facing a famine kind of situation, and may not be able to afford buying enough food.

well you are right, but not exactly about the balance,.
as middle class in pakistan has grown from 10 million to 30 million, which means lower class is converting into middle class, and middle class into upper class.
as for problems of the poor, they definatly are facing problems no one is denying that, but its only a short term problem, and pakistan economic booom has come from a bankrutp and failed economy and it will take time for the trickle down effect.
its all a slow process which i have been trying to explain to pakpatriot but he doesnt understand eocnomics.
