JODHPUR, India (Reuters) - At least 75 people died and another 150 were injured after a stampede at a Hindu temple in the western state of Rajasthan, police said on Tuesday.
"The toll will rise, we are receiving news of more serious injuries," a police officer said in the main control room in the state capital Jaipur.

Anyone know what the reason behind the stampede was? Is this a normal occurance (perhaps due to limited space for the people?)?

Guys, lets leave the squabbles... 50+ people just died in Pakistan in a bus accident too. The bus was heading from Mansehra to Karachi I think.
