When the system is set up in a totally uneven playing field and requires public schools to meet certain student scores while folks of certain backgrounds get incarcerated at much higher rates for equal offenses, this is what you get.

I read about this Southie, America is heading towards being a police state I fear. I read somewhere that only 3-5% of the people in prison are due to serious crimes like murders, rape etc. The rest of the 80% of prison population is in for weed, drug charges or school teachers.
Last time i read, prosecutor was going for a decade of prison time. this is outrageous.
