I’ve been on this diet for one month and have lost about 12 lbs. I’m exercising more and I feel healthier despite being off energy-rich carbohydrates. What are your thoughts on this diet? Healthy or dangerous?

If it hasn't affected your number of trips to the toilet and you are eating enough vegetables and drinking lots of water, then you should be OK. But if you are getting constipated, make sure you increase fibre intake.

Well done on your current weight loss, it seems that Atkins is working for you. Let us know how you get on with the plan as most people, myself included, find the diet very restrictive in the long term.
