Atif Aslam’s new album titled “Meri Kahani” is out. The difference between this and Doorie is that Atif Aslam has composed all the songs himself. I wish he hadn’t. I even prefer Doorie over this crap he’s come out with.
Its pretty evident after this album and also after hearing Jal’s Boondh that who is the composer/writer of Addat and Woh Lamhey. I know this is an old issue but I still remember hearing Goher say this on tv when asked about the Addat/Lamhey issue…“Aap yeh chor dein kisne Addat aur Woh Lamhey likha aur compose kiya hai…Aap concentrate karein next album par…aap ko khudi pata chal jaye ga.”

Not to say I dont like Atif Aslam…I love this voice and I love his songs such as ‘Tere Bin’ and ‘Kuch Iss Tarha.’ They’re both truely amazing songs…but to me now Atif Aslam is just a singer…not a composer or writer and for him to come out and try to deprive Goher the credit for Addat and Woh Lamhey was just disgusting and low.
Anyway, hear the album for yourself and decide…if you like pure rock music you might end up liking it.

JAl and Atif should come back together...separately both have ****ty songs..when they were together they at least had good music.
Or they should go back to the guy who wrote lyrics for their first album.
Ever since I heard Doori, I knew this guy is running out of gas. He has no sense of composition, just raw voice which sometimes he can't control himself. Every song should have his aaaaaa...... same typical aaaaa.
Come on, its 2008, not 1972 where Alamgir was the only one. You will be kicked out and forgotten if you continue doing this joke=albums.
i hav heard meri kahani n i hav really luvd it i dont know abt the rest of the songs so cant comment on his album but sumhow he has a magical voice i like his songs i hope his this album is not a disaster lol
