Atif Aslam - amazin stuff!

The guy has an ethereal voice…his debut album, which he says he completed in just about a day, is pretty good, the title track ‘jal pari’ is very well sung indeed. I personally think that without him, the band ‘Jal’ stands nowhere. This guy IS showbiz material! I guess I’m one his latest devotees…

Wrong. And while we are at it, he also says that he owns all the songs in his album, wrong again. Those were combined efforts but they are crying babies fighting for the toys they made together (bad analogy i know but you will get what I mean)

Wrong again. These two albums (Jal pari and Aadat) are best sellers of the year, by far. Atif needs good music to his service, he cant use his great voice as an instrument througout his music career.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHA
I dont get much of an intelligent idea but let me tell you guys one thing that " This is what happens when you forget do komi nazriya " ..... Usually the looks of a Muslim Male in old days were considered to be good if He is wearing a decent lose dress with decent colour having a well built body ... And if you see down south East of Pakistan (Mumbai), What ever Fag fashion is introduced there is being adapted first in Karachi and then in Punjab .... Those guys were once impressed by "Us" . And now the things have totaly changed . Basic purpose for Fag tighties was that, those were usefull while doing different dance steps . And hence became a fashion .... Even if you see the PTV , The idiot gays are working there . A friend of mine said after watching a drama that " one has to be a mummy daddy gay to get work in the ptv now a days " ...

It's the fashion there. Though it is too tight for my eyes' comfort but i dont think they are trying to look gay. Let them have fun wearing their guesses, fake nikes, fake tommys and fake what nots. One day they will learn.

You do like to tick off people wrongly, dont ya? :p Atif did actually voice all the tracks of the album in one day and one shift, as he says himself in his latest interview. Yeah, ofcourse they were combined efforts, in the sense the songs were originally composed and arranged by the duo.

Well, considering all the rush with which he completed this album, Atif or for that matter, the other guy[with his band] have both done a good job. But I find Jal Pari better basically because of two reasons: The vocals on Jal's debut are really, really LAME. Aadat sounds weird with that guy singing it - the strength, the power which drove Aadat are totally missing. And then the track Jal Pari ofcourse....

I doubt such lame vocals can carry Jal much forward.....I have my serious doubts, but then this remains to be seen and as of now is a matter of opinion. You dont need to get so touchy about it.

Well, yeah he's doing concerts all over the place, making himself heard and has already established a vibe with his audience. That's about being a pop star rather than commercialising!

This is what he claims, do not beleive anything you hear :-p But if you like to believe him, good for you. Waisay you were the one who mentioned the showbiz stuff and I just agreed with you. ab aap khud hee contradict ker rahay/rahi ho apnay aap ko tu mai kya keh sakta hoon. And Jal's singer isnt that bad, it is his bad luck that he will be compared with Aatif's unique voice forever.

p.s I dont like to tick people off.

^

you should listen to the track "teri yaad" from jal's debit album addat...its way better than any song in atif's album.
