Anyone with recent experience? what are the prices? I went to HSY today and he convinced my mother for Athar Shehzad. I wasnt bothering with AS since I thought he was too expensive but now mom wont hear of anyone else. I want to see real brides by him and their shoots. Any help? Recent prices also?
How was experience there at the makeup session? I hear horror stories at times about horrendous treatment by professionals, snooty and arrogant. Is that a concern with AS?

Are you getting your bridal made by HSY? If yes then you can afford AS makeup too. 
I think the signature makeup by shahzad costs 75k. About the photoshoot am not sure but am guessing it’s well above 1 lac.

Haha yes @Enigmatic Im getting my bridal made by HSY. Mum's going all out, only daughter and all. She's reliving her dream wedding. Honestly the only input I am allowed is what colors I want to wear. With everything else Im being barrelled along :)

He's definitely good and I only saw 2-3 brides of his in real and they looked beautiful.
But they are natural beauties too. I would say you go visit his salon and look at the pictures. His base is the best hands down. And if anyone comes close to AS that would be mariam khawaja. She has really increased her prices but stll she charges half the price of AS. Do visit her too.
And I have heard that when Shahzad does the makeup he's super friendly..but a bit on the gayish side :p

they're besties, of course he'd recommend them, to be fair AS are great at makeup and photography. And I do think they cater to elites more than anyone.

4 of my cousins had makeup done by AS (I wish I had pics, but I was fairly young and not into the whole "makeup" / "bride" thing at that point...DARN IT). I remember that they looked COMPLETELY DIFFERENT (in a good way). The base was really really good. But it was the traditional pakistani makeup, made their skin lighter...didn't look unnatural though...

I thought they looked good in real life too, and I was close to their face a lot of the time since they are cousins. I WILL say that I've heard that he's really good with Reds which is what my cousins wore so maybe that's why. And like I said before, the skin was lighter than their real skin color is. They're normal skin color is desi skin and they were WAYYYYY lighter than me at their wedding (my skin tone is super LIGHT, i tend to wear the lightest shade of foundation, if that's any indication)

last summer my cousin used him for her wedding day, I was more than happy with her makeup, dupatta setting and how professional and nice the staff was. I also loved the attention I got when i was getting a few services over there but I will say if one of your cousins goes with you, umm be careful about hairstyles bc they made me look like a pageant kid. For some lame reason they didn’t have curling irons so they took a brush and rolled my hair, sprayed it, and then grabbed more brushes to do the same like rollers just for the bottom. When they took it out they blew dried it and it was tangled and a hot poofy mess. I was very upset that they didnt’ backcomb my crown well either and by the time i got to my hotel to get dressed I had to re-tease my hair. However for the bride they did a fab job.

O](http://www.paklinks.com/gs/wedding/438168-i-am-married.html)h karma was doing their shoot that day so iman ali was in the studio…drool! also the staff didn’t keep us waiting like the other salons my cousin used for her other days. this salon was professional, clean and punctual.
Photography wise they took my cousin to some bench outside that barely had any grass. She had to point out the fact that the grass was patchy and when I realized it I kinda thought to myself geeze it does look dead, why of all spots would they take her there? but the inside studio pics were great. I also loved this orange blush paintstick kinda thing he did with her overall makeup look. The makeup was the best by far of all the salons she used.

nothing to worry about, they won't even keep you waiting your appointment will be set and everything will start on time. I think the receptionist at the time was Basma or something and she did a wonderful job tending to my cousin and checking in on me, and I don't speak urdu so I appreciated her helping me tell the spa ladies what I needed done. :)
I guess keep in mind if they make you go outside to find a good spot to do your shoot, a spot that has grass preferably lol bc those pics did look a little off but my cousin made such a stunning bride that the background didn't matter to me that much. when it's pointed out it does take from the beauty of the pic so do discuss where they will do your outdoor shoot at.

AS is very good - hope we have someone comparable in the UK (both Makeup and Photography wise).
