At what age did you let your kids shower by themselve ?

BigD is MashaAllah 9 and I’m thinking of letting her shower by herself now. The little one is already independent but I’m not ready for her (she is 5).

i started taking bath at the village well at age 5…first shower i had in my life was at age 20 when i came to Canada…hamaare gaaoN meN running water hii nahiiN thaa to shower kahaN se aataa? vaise, in my village, sometimes people took shower using hazaaraa [watering can with filter] hanging from a tree :cb:

It was quite recent when we instructed our kids to shower themselves and I am in my thirties ... But did you want to my age? :D

9 is ok if she can rinse the shampoo properly from her hair

I may have been 7 or so?

7 or 8 - I still check if they got all the shampoo out or not.
