so at what age did you have your first child and was it planned? How did you deal with it if it was not a planned pregnancy? Also, how long did it take you to get pregnant if you were planning?

No kids yet but we plan on waiting at least 2-4 years after being married before having kids (he says he wants me all to himself after we FINALLY get married :halo:) so if that plan goes through I’d be a mother by the time I’m 26-28. That seems really old, esp. since we wont be getting married for at least another 3-4 years. Boo. I wanted to be a mom by the time I was 25-26.

I had my first kid when I was 25 . It was not planned. But fell in love with him the moment I saw the +ve sign on my pregnancy test. Took some parenting classes at the end of my pregnancy, which helped. I'm 28 now. We are trying for a 2nd kid for around 8 months now but no success yet.

married at 20, started planning for the baby at 26, took about 8 months to conceive and we are expecting our first one in November inshaAllah!

yeah it was…girls usually don’t get married before 24/25 in my family, it’s just the way things turned out for me.

How can kids not be planned? If I turn my kitchen faucet on, I cannot say that "oh I was not planing for the water to come out" ... Its just cause and effect. If cause was deliberate , how can effect be unplanned?

planned in the sense when you start taking folic acid and start to avoid contraceptions. Only Allah is the best of planners but we do what's in our power.

by closing the valve under the sink you can plan for water to not come out and open the kitchen faucet all u want. If there is a leak in the valve tu phir Allah ki marzi…
