At the Counter..

Why is it that whenever your dressed as a dag, you meet someone gorgeous..
I was a dag yesterday,in my worst pair of jeans and jacket,
when this gorgeous dude, came up behind me at the counter, said salams and smiled.. i think he wanted to talk, but all i could think of was shiiiiit all i have bought is cheese n more cheese, i saw his basket, full of healthy stuff, like bananas n wheatbix :hoonh:
anyways wasnt bothered to talk, had no makeup on, with clown like red cheeks i was embarrassed, i took my stuff and just walked away..

Lucky escape for that guy :p

he said salaam? oh u must be wearing a head scarf

u dint even reply to his salam? how rude

EXACTLY…:mad2:

uuurrrggghhh i was at uni the other day…had to get up and never bothered to put a lippe on and just wore a cap and went out…:mad2:
and there right in front of me i saw ‘him’…:crying:…i was in such a horrible state…felt like dying…he said ‘hi’ and i just pulled my cap down..mumbeld summit and legged it…lol…:hehe:…but never again…:nono:

I just love the way girls always seem to think that unless they are dolled up, they have no chance of being noticed…

It’s like, the real them isn’t good enough, they have to be augmented with crap all over their faces.

MM no wonder y new husband's get a shock when they wake up in the morning to find a stranger in thier bed. :p
really i must say i feel sory for u ladies. personaly i dont like women with makeup cause thats not thier true beauty. :)

Exactly :k:

i dunno… a lot of guys say that, but at uni and stuff - you see all the guys hanging out with the girls who ‘thop’ on the makeup like there’s no tomorrow. Baatein mai they (not any guy on gupshup, i’m saying, just the guys at uni) say, ‘oh we go for natural beauty’ but then if they see a girl who’s not wearing 10 inches of make-up, they don’t want to necessarily be her friend.

um or i’m just wrong, i could be :flower1: i’m babbling now.

Edit: i don’t mean this personally against anyone, Waleed, sincerely speaking i have respected your opinions :flower1:

The type of guys who do that are trying to be “friends” with those kind of girls because they are hoping to date them. The guys who actually do want to be “just friends” don’t particularly care how much makeup a girl wears.

Now?? Nadia, you babble always :mocking:

waits for the joota to be thrown at my head

i dont like make up either... only on special occasions :)

hey Mystical.. u knows i walk around the shopping centre in my gym gear all sweaty and gross... hahahaha im a disgrace to society...

u look beautiful, Mashallah.. u dont even need make up girly

you guys, not all people who wear makeup, wear it for others..
it’s how you wana feel :snooty:
and still yea i did say walaykumsalam to him..
waleed, i bet, half the time you can’t even tell whose wearing makeup n whose not..
maddy, ur right, again i wear it for myself, i know my jannah companion wud notice mua no matter what..
nadia, then it’s better not to hang out wid such people, i havnt met ppl like that, maybe i have i havnt noticed,
aashi, lol, who was he?
sadzz, hehe, thanks… ur a cutie urself..
n yea i wear thongs n tracks, but wid makeup on :stuck_out_tongue:
hehe

I like simplicity. I would like my wife to wear very light make up only if she really really absolutely has to have the make up on. Just like Maddy & Waleed said, true beauty is what guys go for when it comes down to choosing their life partners as compared to just friends who they want to date or use.

Shikra jee,, when you guys talk about makeup it sounds like yous know everything! but if you were to tell whos wearing it, you wont be able to tell.. if it's applied properly..

Miss jee, TRUST ME on this, I may not be able to tell who's wearing what brand of make up, but I can tell when someone is in make up, light or heavey, doesn't matter and I can also tell who has applied it properly and who has made a cartoon out of herself. Reason being: I have way more female friends than male friends :-)

I hear so many stories from girls about being dressed horribly and guys noticing them like that, that its a wonder so many people seem to think one must wear makeup to receive attention from a guy. Many, many guys out there that do not like makeup on a girl.

Munni baji’s got it. Considering the number of such incidents, I’d figure some guys like to see or know gals in a more “natural” state. It makes the other person seem a lot more human.

If you want to go Freudian, you can also say that guys have seen their mothers in that state more often. :mudhosh:

RT forget Freudian, it is more biblical.

:hehe:

Peeple say I dress up like a junky
LOL
I remember 2 years ago in the summer, the train was full and every one was standing , but no one sat next to me. :hehe:
The good old skin head days

I love dressing up like a dork. I hate unwanted attention.

same here…i couldnt care less what the guys around me thought about how i dressed…hate that kinda attention… :hoonh:
