Well, I know there is a delta of about 22 bucks between the cost of core-plans and the additional stuff, including insurance, text messages and all kinds of taxes. $1 here and there is only if I use 411, which I do ocassionally.
^^
Faisal bhai, I just got off the phone with their customer service and they’ve reduced my bill by about 60 bucks. Firstly, for some really weird reason, they were charging me for long distance even when I was calling withim my local area! So they removed those charges. Then they had charged me the activation fee which you don’t have to pay if you sign the contract. So they removed that.
Verizon customer service is very good, I’ll vouch for that :k:
I didn’t go over my minutes. I did call overseas a couple times and 411 though, and I was also charged a proration (partial month) fee so all that is fine and expected. Thankfully they removed the other extra charges though.
& then
believe me that was a good laugh after a long time ![]()
well I have a question too, is this only for verizon that they dun charge the activation fees if you sign the contract or can we expect the same thing from T-Mobile too?
I wish I could have rollover minutes, 300 minutes used in one month and 700 in next *sad very sad indeed

My friend has Sprint and she wasn't charged activation fees either. You should check with your service provider [T-mobile?] and if they do charge AF then try to convince them not to charge activation fees, just ask them that since other companies don't charge activation fees they shouldn't either...sometimes the customer reps can just waive things for you if they are nice...
I totally agree with you about rollover minutes...Verizon doesn't have rollover minutes either :( that would have been so cool!!!
I dont know how you can afford to call overseas on a cell phone. They charge an arm and a leg. And then you complain about extra charges!
^^
I usually use my roommate's land line or the phone at my work to call overseas but sometimes when you JUST HAVE TO CALL RIGHT THEN and there's no land line nearby and even if you have a land line you don't want to go through the long process of buying an online calling card...and your cell phone's right there...

yeah like when did this happen last and how often. I mean how often do you really need to pay 10 times more just for a call?
