Any ideas who is behind all this killing, gang wars, ethnic, buider mafia? All killing seems to be in different areas.
I think it is combination of all above plus other things.
- Muhammad Ejaz in Purana Golimar from Orangi: A random name. Doesn't show anything.
2.3. Mohammad Ali, was a resident of Lyari. Separately, on Saturday, another man was shot dead in Lyari.
These two people look like to be the victims of gang-wars in Lyari. Lyari has become quite law-less these days.
Memon Goth area, unknown assailants shot and killed the area's former union councillor Shoaib Baloch.
Politically motivated? In Bhens Colony, unknown armed men gunned down one Mohammad Nasir,
No idea what could be behind it. May be personal enmity?in Saudabad's Malir area. The victim, Sher Baloch...
Another Baloch? May be related to Lyari situation.two men were gunned down on Karachi's Tipu Sultan ... Rajesh Kumar and Faisal.
May be someone wanted to kill a Hindu, and Faisal just happened to be there. May be religious murder.in Khwaja Ajmer Nagri, one Rizwan Hussain was gunned down.
No idea.in Mohammadi Colony, unknown armed men were forcing shopkeepers to shut down. The men fired shots which resulted in the death of one Abdul Aziz. Aziz was affiliated with a religious organisation.
Obvious.
10.11. two men were injured in a shooting in the city's Defence area
Personal issues? By the way, the report doesn't say that they died.
- a security guard, who had been injured during firing in the Karachi's New Town area earlier, succumbed to his injuries at a hospital. Probably he was present at wrong place and at wrong time. Or he could be a victim of ethnic hatred.

Seems like MQM is out and about to something. Someone put Altaf saab on leash.

yeah like anp and the other parties are saints
Re: At least 12 dead in targeted killings in Karachi
Here is an example of some of the people involved in these target killings:

2 detained for targeted killing
KARACHI: The Nazimabad police on Friday arrested two people from Gulbahar for their involvement in the killing of a Shia writer and recovered a pistol from their possession. SHO Jhanzaib said that on a tip-off, the police party raided Petal Wali Gali located in Gulbahar area and arrested Shoaib, 26, and Nasir, 29. The SHO added that during initial course of investigation the culprits confessed killing Ayub Naqvi, a Shia writer in Nazimabad area. Police have registered an FIR and started investigations. The arrested culprits are residents of Petal Wali Gali. They are also associated with the defunct Sipah-e-Sahaba Pakistan. staff report
MQM may be involved too. But there are other people as well. I think Lyari gang war is another significant factor. Also sectarian extremist parties. Example:

Those who know the Nazimabad area know very well that Peetal-wali-gali is an old hub of SSP.

Re: At least 12 dead in targeted killings in Karachi
^No one is really innocent.
Re: At least 12 dead in targeted killings in Karachi
though pp/mqm/anp all may be involved, mqm has always had the biggest share in killings... but mqm lovers on board would do anything to protect the killers of mqm.
Well, what did you expect?
Point is that there are many factors involved in Karachi killings.
Re: At least 12 dead in targeted killings in Karachi
^And what you expect after these killings! They will also keep retaliating.
nothing new in this

Exactly.
You cannot compare the tens of thousands of murders committed by the MQM, to PML,PPP.
MQM are a criminal gang from top to bottom.

I don't see how MQM are the only murderers. PPP are not only killers but also no good thieves. Compare the MQM controlled areas and the PPP controlled areas. MQM gives back to the community while PPP only knows how to loot.

Who do you think you are fooling?
PPP/PML etc. is not a criminal gang like the MQM.
PPP/PML is not known for bhatta, torture cells, criminality like the MQM.
PPP,PML, etc are corrupt, but the MQM are even bigger looters , and also kill, torture, and have killed more Mohajirs than anybody else.
Re: At least 12 dead in targeted killings in Karachi
^exactly!
although pp and mqm are at the same level, MQM is a true all-time mafia. target killing of random ppl around the city, seems to me people who speak against altaf are being shot down.
im not trying fool anyone.
What have ppp/pml done for Karachi in the past? Have they tried to solve any of the problems like MQM with limited budget?
MQM has a bad history but this time it’s probably the land mafia not MQM

PPP/PML have not been running Karachi for the last 20 yrs, MQM have been.
If you look at a city like Lahore, it is in much better condition than Karachi, transformed during PML rule.
Re: At least 12 dead in targeted killings in Karachi
Right now no one has the full and complete control of Karachi, which is the reason why you don't see any one taking the responsibility to stop the killings. It could be that the political parties are settling their old differences or just one those random mafia groups going at each or everything.
Karachi badly needs to have Local Body Elections to bring some sort of stability. Otherwise, this will just go deep.
Re: At least 12 dead in targeted killings in Karachi
^ That is correct. At this moment Karachi looks like a rudderless ship without local government.
Re: At least 12 dead in targeted killings in Karachi
plz. remember also Ameerul Munafekeen Zia in your BEST wishes
