at home face mask

so yesterday i was home all day and bored out of my mind. also i noticed my skin was getting dull and not fresh these days.

so i made a face mask with stuff i had in my kitchen, and now my skin feels so soft, smooth and instantly fresh.

so here is what i did:

In a bowl I added:

  • quarter to half cup youghurt
  • same amount of brown sugar
  • tablespoon of honey

I mixed them up to an even consistency and applied it to my face, neck and hands. I put a generous amount (and don’t be scared of the “tanned” look your face will turn into (courtesy of the brown sugar)). I massaged it gently on my face and let it dry (around 20 minutes).

After that I gently washed it all off with lukewarm water and patted dry. I glowed! I plan on doing this at least once a week now.

And it was even yummy to eat (yes I did try some lol).

Re: at home face mask

what type of skin do you have? i have sensitive and oily wondering if it would work?

Re: at home face mask

I too have seen results with home made face masks, in particular the yoghurt face mask. Though, I havnt used all the ingredients together you posted. I've tried mixing yoghurt and honey together, but when i do, i can only get a small amount on as its so slippery and thin so usually just use plain yoghurt. I'm guessing the sugar makes the whole mixture thicker and easier to apply?

Roshni: This mask is great for all skin types i believe. But i know that some people with oilier skin substitute honey for lemon.

Re: at home face mask

i have sensitive combination skin and it worked fine.
