The ASUS Transformer Pad 300 is getting closer to bringing its watered-down Prime flavor to store shelves, as *PC World *reports a spokesperson confirmed it will begin shipping April 22nd. What they could not confirm was the price, although there are preorders out there for $399 already. In case you’ve forgotten, the 300 brings the same Tegra 3 processor as the Prime, but matches it with a standard IPS display, optional LTE and only 16GB of built-in storage, as well as 10 hours of battery life. We’ll let you know when we hear more, but for now feel free to pencil in a note on your Earth Day calendar entries.ASUS reportedly to release Transformer Pad 300 on April 22nd originally appeared on Engadget on Fri, 13 Apr 2012 22:25:00 EDT.
