If a astrologer told you that the guy you wish to marry is not right for you and you will not have a successful marriage with that person would you believe it?

i ignore astrology because the readings are two vague to refer to any one person. It could be anybody........

i dont personally believe it , they know the facts of what sort of character i am &then whaaaaaam the guy im with now hes not good news and i will never be happy with him LOL like jheeeez

No. Astrology is as old as time so if it had any place in Islam...it would have been mentioned. But since it hasn't I don't believe in it.

Some of the things you say are often close to what I am thinking ... I was thinking of saying that the astrologer was only saying the rishta was not good, because he wanted you for himself ...

To ask someone to predict about your future is haram, so you better help other ignorant people and prove him wrong by asking him few questions;

Tell him to forget about the future and tell you (based on his knowledge of astrology) what all you have already gone through in life, so that you can cross check if he really has that knowledge.

p.s. Even prophets were informed through an angel (wahi) what is going to happen in future, and this man can't be superior than prophets.

If still your heart is not convinced and you are highly influenced by his knowledge, then ask him to tell you what is going to happen to him in the next week/month and then see if his predictions about himself were true or not...
