The Asteroid is supposed to impact earth in 2029 not 2036 as the article states.So we have less time to hide now.

that's nothing !
very remote chance of it hitting earth, there are several bigger planets in other galaxies which can draw this asteroid as they have much larger gravity pull.
Even if any future small asteroids like this approaches earth, it will be burnt while entering atmosphere. If it survives, chances are more falling in ocean than land.
Anyway it's better for Nasa to explore the possibility of deflecting asteroids/foreign objects of space in future
