My husband married me to get a green card and he's going to divorce me and marry one of his cousins (this rumor is 11 years old and STILL in circulation different cousin every year!)
My daughter tried to seduce her cousin when we were in Pakistan last summer (she was 12, he was 18, and his mother has been proposing since she was born)
I have fertility issues and can't have any more boys. WTH?
and my personal favorite.....
I never went to college (which is why I'm TEACHING now - you know what they say - "Those who can't - Teach"!)
I was not dating anyone in middle school or high school & there was a rumor spread abt me being a lesbien. I did not even know what it had meant back than so I never fussed about it. I guess that silence confirmed many ppl's opinion.
There were even worse rumors. It is funny & creepy what people can come up with.
my husband and i got married rather quickly, all was done in abourt a month, since i had known him for years before we got hitched peopled assumed that the reason was becasue i was pregnant.
The other rumour was that i had a secret abortion hence no baby.
Real reason was my father-in-laws failing health at the time, MA he's much better now.
Come to think of it, most of my rumours have to do with pregnancy.
Oh forgot to add, shortly after we got married my husband went to pakistan for a few weeks to see his family, i had exams at the time so i couldn't go. Im half white and there was a rumous amoung the aunties that he had went to go look for a nice desi seccond wife becasue i wasn't 'domestic' enough.
