Are you sure you still need to sterilize the bottles? I think soap and water may be enough.
Also, keep a bottle (even if it's just with a little bit to drink) for take off and landing. The sucking motion helps avoid the ear pains.
Tire him out during the layover.
And yes, take all the meds and a thermometer.

^ i was thinking of sterilizing on the plane cos i thought i could only wash his bottles in the bathroom and shudder those things are nasty. but if i can wash in the sink the flight attendants use, then that might not be necessary.

The hell like hot water they use in the plane kitchen...its enuff to kill off anything .... Just twll them to rinse em out for u... Dnt let bottles sit with unfinished milk etc... If the baby is done... Get em washed fast... This way u wont need detergent every single time.

Oh sgc... Just go to the pharmacy and ask them for disposable bed protectors.... Its the same stugg they put under u for when u are delivering... Its the size of a changing pad.

SGC...the disposable pads,they are also made by Huggies and Pampers.I have seen them at Walmart too.I am sure you will be able to find them at a pharmacy or maybe Walmart.
