A family friend just got married and moved to the USA. She is on a visa that does not allow her to work for a year, her hubby has a part time job as a programmer so income is tight.
This lady is extremely talented in arts and crafts, she did her home eco from lahore and would like some advice.
Can you suggest some home based work that she can do as a business for some additional income. I recommended gift baskets but the market is pretty competitive for those with the holiday season here. Any ideas… this newly wed couple is in need.

hmm... if she has done home eco.. she must know how to sew too.. i'd say screw arts and crafts.. if she can sew.. she'll have women lining up for her to make them shalwar kameez'... nothing fancy to start off with.. just simple basic shalwar kameez..
