Catan turns out to be my favourite Live Arcade game. It needs a little bit more thinking than Carcasonne I find (which I also downloaded, but I prefer Catan).
Bomberman live is a great party game if you have friends who are into it,
I did get the full verson of Geometry Wars. From time to time I get tempted to maybe buy Prince of Persia.
PuzzleQuest is also tempting me; but I'm not getting it because early next summer I might buy a PSP when I start commuting, and I imagine getting puzzlequest for PST instead.
I downloaded Carcassone for free for the XBox Live 5th anniversary promotion. There are so many XBLA games I'd like to try. I also have Hexic, which is fun. What is Puzzle Quest exactly?
As for a good party game, I bought TMNT Arcade. That's really fun with four players. I remember playing it back in the 90's at the arcade. I haven't had a chance to play it in multiplayer mode on the XBox yet.
What's on PSP now? It's catching up to the DS. I just bought a DS a couple of months ago to keep me busy especially in waiting rooms.

Puzzle Quest is a combination of a puzzle game with fantasy RPG.

The majo games on the PSP that I want are Sid Meier’s Pirates, Field Commander, PuzzleQuest, Final Fantasy Tactics, Jeanne D’Arc, and Football Manager 2008. Pirates and Football Manager are open ended games; Jeanne D’Arc is a big RPG, and Final Fantasy Tactics and Field Commander should satisfy my strategic itch.
I want a PSP rather than a DS for the larger screen and better graphics.

I have actually played that demo. I just couldn’t remember it’s name. I got a DS partly because I had already bought a game for it. At the time the price of the PSP was quite high without anything really appealing to me on it at the time.

So I paid for and bought Undertow on Xbox live, because it looked like it would be a lot of fun in multiplayer. Unfortunately, I then found that there are very few people playing it on multiplayer.... oh well. I still play once in a while.
I finished Mass Effect for the second time on Hardcore, then have lent it for a while to my friend in return for Call of Duty 4, to play multiplayer.

I'm trying to get the Paramour achievement with Ashley. Any advice? When she said she'd kiss any alien if I asked her to, my next question was if she'd do the same for me. She gave me a threat as a response. Did I do something wrong, considering I'm trying to unlock that achievement?

No, she's just feisty. Keep talking to her after every couple of level ups.
Do you use Kaidan much in your squad? That combo tech/biotic thing is useful.

My current squad consists of Garrus and Tali. One thing I like about this game is that if I chose other squad members later, it's not like have to build them up. They'll have the level up points there already.
I just cleared Feros last night. I'm thinking of going after the Asari scientist next.

You have no biotics in your squad? You are missing out... though I suspect that between Garrus and Tali's tech skills the geth are being cut apart.
Still, I usually depend on Biotic lifting and singularity abilities to deal with tough enemies - suspending them in the air while I gun them down....

That would have come in handy with the asari clones. You're right, Tali and Garrus were both pretty good against the geth.

For dealing with the horde of Thorian Creepers when you face the Asari clone, the singularity and lift powers were pretty useful too. I hated those damned creepers!

Another question...how do I use one of my squad mates to open/access something? I'm trying to open a probe on that desert planet, I found the probe, and Shepard's electronics skill is too low. Tali on the other hand has a lot of points dedicated to electronics. So how do I get her to open it?

Your squadmates skills automatically apply to anything you try and do. So the problem is that Tali's electronic skill is not high enough. The item you were trying to access probably requires Advanced electronics (or whatever the highest level is called).

Then I must have been in a more difficult area. It's that same galaxy where you're supposed to find the matriarch's daughter. I had to max out Tali's electronics skills before I could open it. Now I'm at that place where they have the pirate stronghold. How are you supposed to get omni-gel without converting your weapons/items into again?

However, the main source of omni-gel will be weapons and items. I usually converted low-level items into gel and sold only the high level items.

I don't think so. I played twice and couldn't find a way. I think that choice between them is unavoidable, to add to the drama and movie feel.
The first time I played the game, it was really dramatic since my heroine character used Kaidan and Ashley as her squad, and she was getting involved with Kaidan. But I needed Ashley to survive more as I needed a pure soldier for my squad; so you had this filmy sequence where the heroine had to leave her love interest, telling him she'd be back for him only to hear him tell her to go herself....
Unfortunately, it's scripted to only Ashley and Kaidan as the choices. The game would have been much more powerful if when you get to the special forces camp, it worked out which 2 characters you use most and force you to choose between them. All it would have cost them is a few extra lines of dialogue....

Well, that's too bad. I chose to go to Ashley in the dialogue but tried to get up to Kaidan. I couldn't figure that out either.
Another question...is it possible to have a romance with Ashley and Liara at the same time?

You can flirt with them both... but I think you can only bed one of them.
