Assasins Creed (Merged)

Re: Assassin's Creed

This is by far an awesome game, not historically accurate, but it captures the essence of crusade era. THe game play is fully next-gen.

The AI is better than anygame out yet, the crowd and the atmosphere, everything is dynamic.

And it takes longer than 15-20 hours of play to finish the game...theres just too much to do.

Call of Duty was a let down, had high expectations for that.

Re: Assassin's Creed

Hmmm... given that I'm getting my sci-fi urge fulfilled by Halo at the moment... perhaps I should by Assassin's creed now and get mass Effect later.

Re: Assassin's Creed

I just bought myself Mass Effect. I might get Assassin's Creed in a few months.

Re: Assassin's Creed

I just ordered Mass Effect at 25% discount, but it gets shipped in December instead. I'll need to buy Assassin's Creed to fill the time until then!

Re: Assassin’s Creed

Where’s the Wii version :naraz:

Re: Assassin's Creed

Wii is for kids :p

Re: Assassin’s Creed

All game play is for kids :stuck_out_tongue:
Wake you inner child up :bailan:

Re: Assassin's Creed

New plan... having started playing Halo 3 on Xbox Live... I think I'll be playing Halo against others rather than Assassin's Creed on my own for a while to come.

Re: Assassin’s Creed

Do you think the Wii could handle it?

Re: Assassin's Creed

I've only played Halo 3 in co-op mode on XBox Live. I mostly play Halo for the co-op mode. So did you get through Halo 2 yet?

Re: Assassin's Creed

I screamed and stopped playing Halo 2, because I got 75% through the game in one sitting and then stopped... without saving. I couldn't bring myself to play through all that Flood again, so I just went to wikipedia and read the rest of the Halo 2 storyline so I could follow where Halo 3 began!

And I'm glad I did. Halo 3 is just sooo much better than Halo 2 ever was.

Re: Assassin’s Creed

I am so sick of my brother hogging the big screen tv to play this game all night long  stupid game :aj:

Re: Assassin's Creed

^^

Why don't you start playing it as well then?

Re: Assassin’s Creed

The same thing happend to me with Halo 3. I was playing on Live with a friend, then we got 3/4 through the most annoying level in the game. My friend told me he had to leave, but I kept trying to progress. Then my friend quits the game, and I lose all my progress we made that session.

I also found the flood levels annoying. Not just in Halo 2, but in all 3 Halo games. They were somewhat more tolerable in Halo 3. I finally finished the fight sometime last week.

If you haven’t seen it already, check out the Halo shorts. I’m guessing it shows what happens just before Halo 3.

Re: Assassin's Creed

I don't have the patience for video games anymore, well i never did really except for mortal combat and super mario and im not even too good with super mario anymore. :D

Re: Assassin's Creed

^^

Ah, but you see, now that games allow you to save where you got to before you quit and then resume from there next time... you don't need patience!

I think you should try playing the game for 30 mins.

Re: Assassin's Creed

Patience? You're making it sound like a chore.

Re: Assassin's Creed

Any news if Mass Effect will be available for the PS3?

Re: Assassin’s Creed

I doubt it - Microsoft is the publisher for Mass Effect and own the IP on the Mass Effect franchise. They are keeping it as a “killer app” for the Xbox 360… though I wouldn’t be suprised if it make it onto Windows Vista too at some point.

Anyhows… I think Halo 3 multiplayer will definately serve me well until Mass Effect is out. Had an incredibly fun time playing today… here’s a screenshot of the highlight of the day. Me in red armour on the left.

Re: Assassin’s Creed

dont say it like that. :teary1:
