Assad prepares to use chemical weapons?

He is a saint compared to saudis, bahraini, kiwaitis gulf kings etc...But he is from alawite sect, an off shoot of shia sect and hence closely allied with iran lebanon etc.

After the US invasions, countries like iraq, Afghanistan libya egypt became more iran friendly, whereas previously they were openly hostile. This is causing saudis some serious stomach burn, at losing their clout, so syria has become they' re easy scape goat to lash out at.

What they are hoping is to get a saudi friendly ( salafi) regime to do their bidding as opposed to irans... So they are arming and funding the rebels, whose orders are coming from a certain saudi based syrian in exile called adnan aroor. His hatred for iran and shias well known.

Re: Assad prepares to use chemical weapons?

well actually im persian too, but my religious leaning (sunni) leaves me looking to Arabia in Positive light, we have Prophetic narration aswell which gives backing to a man from persia, and of course we have the Salman RA Companion and governor of iraq during the time of Umar RA caliphate who was persian. so yes i do look on persia positively aswell

you'll find some of persian descent support a concept of persian nationalism which does not look positively towards Arabia. this latter group seem to be congregated within the shia
On the other hand Shia school and its teachings took a formal shape under Imam al Baqir and As Sadiq (both obviously Hashmi).
both are Imams of the ahulsunnah

they taught people the religion (this was a period when fiqh formulation was the requirement)
what is acknowledged is that ahulsunnah follow what they openly preached in Medina, and shias follow what is claimed they preached to a select few . this secret teaching of theirs appeared in Persia from those persians who went to visit the imams, a couple of centuries later what was being said by the people at that time, in persia, was penned by kulayni of kulayn, iran without much regard for sanad or authentication. of course he named his book as 'sufficient' for the shia
Shia compiler of hadiths such as Sheikh Mufid, Sheikh Saduq, Sheikh Yaqoob Kulayni, Syed Sharif Murtada, Syed Sharif al Radi (compiler of Nahjul Balagha) were all Arabs. In fact when Iran turned Shia under the safavids, they imported scholars from abroad since there wasn't much of a native Persian Shia tradition at that point in time. Shaykh Hurr al Amuli for example (compiler of Wasail as Shia) was from Jabal Amil (modern day Lebanon).
Sheikh Mufid, albaghdadhi
Sheikh Saduq, qummi
Sheikh Yaqoob Kulayni, as you say of kulayn, iran
Syed Sharif Murtada, baghdadi
Syed Sharif al Radi, baghdadi
Shaykh Hurr al Amuli, lebanese

all persians except the last but he is a very recent birth.

also if your looking for a link between persia and shiaism then you do have narrations which state fire (hellfire) is forbidden to such and such exleader of preislamic persia, and narrations which venerate cities in iran because their inhabitants would be pious shias who cry for such and such purpose

also if you keep your eyes open for it you will find HEAVILY nationalistist persian sentiments coming from time to time

Re: Assad prepares to use chemical weapons?

thank you, ma mooli,i tried to say this, what you have said, once before and people wouldnt believe me! cough cough to those :)

ok so the benefit for the US as it appears is disruption to hezb supply routes/network?

Eh? You do know he is a secularist and that alawites are not 'considered' as shias even though they are an offshoot, due to their extreme beliefs?

Its more a friendly neighbour with mutual benefits alluance. Nothing to do with 'religion' !

But that doesn't stop the west and saudis going crazy over the 'shia' alliance. Lol. The arabs are also peeved that he is arab and still allying with the lowly persians over them. The open racism and their arrogance is disgusting to say the least.

Yes, the benefit is more for their allies israel and saudi. Iran is the main supporter of hamas, islamic jihaad and hizbullah. Syria was their only way in during mubarak era, but now egypt is another possibilty.

The saudis and gulf arabs on the other hand, hate hamas and hizb like anything... Not least because they are shia or pro shia.

They have actively supported the US and israel to get rid off them, not just through funding political parties and influencing elections ( even paying for free flights for thousands of sunni lebanese expats to return to vote) , but also enforcing the siege in gaza via egypt! During the isreali assualt on gaza/ lebanon, they were supporting israel in the hope that they would get rid of or atleast weaken hizb and hamas.

Neither worked of course, they the militias have come back stronger and even more popular. Hence when king abdullah ( may he go to hell soon) of saudi was exposed by wikileaks, saying to the US to cut off the 'snakes head' he was referring to iran. This was when iran and saudi were on their friendliest term.... And the weasel still couldnt subside his racism.

The intent now well known of these taghutis was to first get rid of hamas/ hizb and then move on to iran. But they failed on the first attempt thankfully, but it was not for want of trying.

They are also not only busy crushing the shia protests in the eastern oil rich province of saudi, but also crushing the shia majority protests in bahrain in fear of irans influence. Their sectarian hatred knows no bounds.

Now their collective plan is first to get rid of assad ( thinking it will weaken the hizb, hamas and isolate iran), and then move onto iran. But they plot and plan ( and burn), whilst God plans and plots as well, and this too shall be foiled and iran shall come out victorious as always. :-).

Re: Assad prepares to use chemical weapons?

ma mooli, there is an element of instability in your views for example you cite plans to isolate Iran but the recent past shows Iran has been aided heavily aswell eg Afghanistan, Pakistan, Iraq and even in Syria where the US is no rush to oust Assad. even Assad only accused them of providing Political support in July of this year.

and you seem to be just supporting whatever Iran plans without any regard for recognisable morals. for example some would go by a moral obligation to help people but thats not the case with you, some are antiwar again not the case with you, some would openly declare their reasoning not the case with you. whether you realise it or not, i think you do, you have an appetite for spreading the sectarianism talked about on page 1

wow @statement

its a slip of the tongue?

its a sign

Re: Assad prepares to use chemical weapons?

the persian nationalists say the shah was pro american, but relatively peaceful

khomeni was wrapped in cotton wool, brought in from france (us ally)

theres some commotion at an embassy, US publically opposes Iran

Iran Iraq war happens and stops, apparantly americans were on Iraqs side but it ends in stalemate

a couple of years later Iraq US war starts

irans grand sectarian plot:
on the slogan of hostility to america they destroy lebanon,
on the slogan of support to america they destroy Iraq
on the slogan of support to america they help US in afghanistan

Israel promotes Iran as its leading opposition, at the same time as sorrounding its self, courtesy muscle of america, with Irani influenced nations

more often then not Iran and US have had mutually beneficial policies

so it'll be interesting to see once the dust settles in Syria.

there has been heated exchanges between turkey and its neighbours israel, iran. then this turkish involvement against assad. further signalling that turkey wasnt happy with israelli plans

ma mooli says iran has always been victorious, theyve been involved but hardly done anything of manly note other then pickup US thrown scraps. they could only 'draw' with saddams iraq. they seem to excel in civil war situations. all the US scraps seem to be falliing for Iran, so its interesting to note the view of assad only accusiing US of political support. this could be an arab/turkish project to halt the spread of persia. although the US has given lip support and im sure Israel is loving prolonged destabilisation of Syria, until there is an outcome is hard to judge what has been going on

whats the most the US has been involved in this Syria conflict?

Re: Assad prepares to use chemical weapons?

Thanks Ma Mooli your post make sense, but why do the Saudis hate Hamas? Is it just because they are puppets of the US and are just doing their bidding or are there other reasons?

yes iran has benefitted massively, every action the US has taken so far has worked for iran.. Be it removing the taliban in afgh., saddam in iraq, gaddafi in libya, but that definitely was not their noble intent i assure you…it was merely their (bush admins) stupidity, huge ego, and greed for oil and control that led them inadvertently to this situation.

It definitely was not the result they envisaged. Infact i recall western/arab critics crying out these very arguments, that we are basically handing these countries over to iran in the long term, but bush’s neocons could not see that far, and were blinded by the 9/11 rage and rampage, and the dumb idea that we will establish a US friendly democracy that will be so grateful, it will continue to do our bidding, provide us with cheap or free oil, and be a launching pad for iran/other hostile countries. ’ They will welcome us with flowers’ lol.

It certainly did not predict irans joy at not only suddenly getting all these friendly neighbours but getting the enemy to do the job for them.

Its quite hilarious when you think about it, i mean what bigger enemy could you get then saddam or the rabidly anti-shia taliban, and what kind of gov would you expect in a democratic iraq, in a shia dominant country??

But that is obviously what it means, when they say ’ God works in mysterious ways’. LOL.

Errr ok. After all that, and you think i am in taqiya! Haha. Even though the only one talking in codes and semantics here is you. Lol.

I am seeing the geopolitical world dividing into two clear sides, and they are not based on any sects or religion, they are simply based on haq and batil.

Israel is on one side and iran is on the other. The rest are just allies ( or mindless slaves). The Gulf arab leaders have chosen their bed and they will have to lie in it. Its just a shame they chose israel over iran simply due to their sectarian hatred.

Simply put, fatah is their pet and hamas is irans. Until 9/11, saudi and gulf arabs were the main funders of hamas, but that all changed after 9/11, and their activities came under the spotlight, so they backed off.

Basically fatah got all their money, and western recognition and support. Hamas became isolated.. And turned towards iran, even more so after they saw hezbullah victory against israel.

The iranians supporting hamas, gained them popularity in the heart of the arab population. They strengthened hamas, when the arabs had left it to rot for not toeing thier line. It also diminished the arabs role on the israel- palestinian issue and meant iran had a role to play in the peace process that was suppose to be a pan 'arab' issue.

This just riled saudi up even more, hen' ce they supported the assault on gaza, actually blaming hamas for provoking israel, the same when lebanon was bombed by israel, and then they actively enforced a siege on gaza via egypt.. In the hope that hamas gives up or is totally crushed.

before i asked some questions, superb taqiyah (deception):

its not rocket science to see taqiyah once you know what it is

btw from my research taliban were not 'rabidly' anti-shia or even 'anti-shia'. they didnt get involved in this area. so look into yourself, beyond taqiyah, to know why you supported an attack on them. the reason is same as all the others cases. refer to post 20 if you need help

also Hamas are not pets of iran, nor do they like them nor do you like hamas, and this is illustrated by their support for the anti-assad uprising, which is a punch in the face of ALL iranian plans. the statements going the other way imply iran is imposing itself as ally to Hamas. sure Hamas may have difficulties which make it unable to turn down assistance but insh Allah, they realise soon getting rid of the the iranians will be the best move they ever did for their cause

Hahaha is that why in the recent gaza rally mishaal thanked and praised iran, and said hamas could not have done this if it wasnt for iran??

Oh wait... Maybe he was in taqiya? Lol!
