Hey, I’m an aspiring makeup artist. I have worked with make-up for about 1 year now, but I have only had a limited amount of time with clients. A lot of the girls in my community ask me if I want to do their make-up, but it’s one thing to do it on your friends, family and acquaintances, but a entirely different thing to do it on complete strangers. I must admit I get nervous.
I really want to improve my skills and get more experience. I want to work on all kinds of girls, all kinds of bone structure, all kinds of eyes etc.
I have a FB-page with almost 300 likes. I really want to spread the word that during the next month or two, I will do anyones make-up for free, as long as I can take before/after pictures, but I have no idea how to articulate that correctly so it doesn’t sound like I’m a complete new bee? Help!
Also, what brands would you recommend for a aspiring makeup artist? I started buying things for my kit about 9 months ago, all I need now is foundation, concealers and face primers, which brands would you recommend?
