Umm in my family everything is checked before going forward to even an engagement. My cousin (phuppho’s daughter) just had her baat pakki with this guy from Michigan. The investigation lasted like 5 6 months before the baat pakki stage came. My family found out, which university the guy attends for masters, which university he went for bachelors, where he works how much he makes, what his dad does and everything. We just don’t give away our daughters like that. Though marrying outside the family is rare. So we all know what is the situation of guys inside the family.
