I’m not upset, I’m just confused as to what I’m supposed to do.
Am I supposed to read into the situation and analyze it or just wear the colour and continue the facade?
I sometimes wish there was no prentending and she would just say what’s on her mind instead of trying to be tactful.

I don’t know what you’re confused about. You don’t like her. She doesn’t like you. Period. But since you are cousins, you’re forced to deal with each other on family events such as weddings.

There is nothing to “analyze” here. Wear whatever color you’re told to wear and move on. Focus on your own wedding.

I understand that you wish there was no pretending but that’s not going to happen. If your cousin had any intention of communicating openly with you, she would’ve done so already. Since she hasn’t…you need to understand and accept that “hint”, and move on.
