There is no use of whinning about Saqlain....i don't think he would've made a whole lot difference though there is no doubt he is the greatest spinner in the world but against SriLanka his record is not that impressive.
Wasim would've slowed down the run rate but can't say anything about taking wickets...well that's quite obvious that the situation would be a little better than this but still as our batsmen failed, so the situation would've been pretty much the same.
I don't think there is any chance of a draw as they got the whole day tomorrow and maybe the play will be resumed today and as Inzi is not in good form and there is not well support from rest of batsmen as all of them are playin carelessly. Afridi's inning was cool though in ended in usual style but still good contribution.
I don't know whether we'll be able to make them bat again or not...well hope for the best!!!

I don't know what will happen in case of a draw, but if the trophy is shared because rain made a draw possible, it will be a shame and a travesty of justice. What have we come down to? Hoping for rain to save us. I would rather lose and give Sri Lanka a deserved victory. They throughly outplayed us in all departments. Pakistan's dismal record at home continues unabated. I would rather the sun shone and Inzy batted the two days out.
I think ACC has got point systems per innings, and Sri Lanka must have score more points - First in Bowling and then in Batting, SoEven if it is a draw, Sri Lanka would by the winners
The points are only rewarded with the margin of win, not by individual innings and so far both teams have 14 points each because they both defeated Bangladesh with margin of innings and 100+ runs, so the trophy would be shared but Pakistan will retain the title becuase they are defending champions.
Well I agree with Ehsan and this sport needs a lot of changes to attract the "non cricketers".
First one would be that Test matches should end with a loser and a winner.
I say get rid of that DRAW System.
Secondly, let them play in almost all conditions considering that the PITCH stays a playable one.
Third and finally (TEST MATCH) every Bowler should have a limit of overs to Ball.
That would do Cricket good!

They changed some rules in HOCKEY to make it more attractive.
Same should be applied on Cricket.

If there were to be limited overs how are teams like srilanka and india going to win matches where there best bowler can only bowl certain amount of overs.
Can you imagine kumble and harabajahn bowling certain amount of overs and making other bowlers in their team bowl.
And same with srilanka how are they going to take wickets when Muralitharan is not able to bowl half of the total overs bowled by the whole team.

No besides One Day.
I know this would be very similar to One day, but only one day does attract non-cricketers most.
This is what would make the game more professional.
Let them search for new bowlers, recruit them, train them hard and I'll bet this game would get even more exciting than it is already (at least for hardcore cricketers!).
The Bowling problem you have mentioned would convert into a relevent solution, which would make games (not so hot games as compared to India vs Pak or Austrialia vs. South African) like Sri Lanka vs. Pak or Zimbabwe vs Bangla unpredictable.
Since every Bowler would have its turn in each Test Match, gaining experience would be one result and more over boundries would become very common.
And we all know that only a cricket matches containing lots and lots of boundries signify a good performance of a team and therefore ends up in a good play.
Anyway it's still a dream.....
Finally back to the performance of Pak, well I think I better keep quite.
Result was predicted by us from day ONE.
