Pakistan is sending a group of 100 + while most of them are not in the league of other competitors. Why waste national money …
This may have went to flood victims when the result of their participatio is already known.

Thats why I am oppose of our hockey team to play international hockey: they are going down and down and destroying our precious record in hockey!

Allocate our resources to more desperate areas instead of buying expensive astro turf from foreign countries - hockey is no longer a sport for poor nations!

It is not lie this. we shall participate on selected games where there can be atleast some competition. Not like swiming where our swimmers are having huge gap with even the 2nd last.
For such games money to be invested on training camps... once they reach near to asian level then only to be sent.
If we have infinite resources then I dont mind sending whole nation to participate.......

How will they get better if they don't compete? How will you know if they got better if they don't compete?

Many of our minor games , our players are participating in Olymipcs and Asian games . Our runners and wrestlers got medals way back in 50's and 60's. Did they improved. Our swimmers are participating for a long time . Did they improved. In table tennis we were competing early with India . now our players are loosing even to Nepal and bhutan.
Once you are out of the league you dont improve rather u r a spectator. To improve you have to compete one or two level above you not 100 levels above.
