Last time there was a double wicket in NJ where Waseem Akram, Afridi participated, Zee TV broadcasted live all weekend long. Trust me, there will be some coverage for sure.

Last time double wicket was in houston in 2002 in Astro Dome and there was no coverge for that. Atleast not that I know of. The one in NJ you are talking about happened in 00 or 01.

Those familiar with Houston... if it is actually going to happen in Houston, which place/stadium will they most likely use?
Presumably they have booked the place already, so that place's website will show it in future events. No?

No, its definitely Astrodome....thats where the last tournament (double wicket) featuring Afridi and Akram, organized by the same people, took place....And I saw them say its Astrodome on Geo for this match as well...

It was ok to play double wicket in astrodome but how the hack are they going to play 50 over match over there. As big as astrodome is but still it is not large enough to be a cricket field. Believe me I was there at the time of double wicket. They better find a place where Houston league teams play their tournaments. There are some nice fields where there are real wickets in Houston area.

The diamond is long gone but the field in not oval or symmetrical for proper cricket match.

haha last time afridi hit the roof of astro dome a dozen times. Thankfully no damage happened to the roof. Although he hit an uncle in the crowd and busted his head open.
