In the midst of all the darkness/chaos brought forth by your PDM party, the only thing that seems to keep the Pakistani public going currently is their cricket team.
Number one ranking in oneday is quiet a feat really. First time ever. Alhamdulilah.
Asia cup I expect Pakistan to march on to the final with ease. Hoping they will win it too. But then some of us also want Pak to win against our oh so powerful and financially strong neighbors called Indians. Chandarayan ki coffee date is overdue waisay hi :D
WC ought to be tough for us, considering NZ/ENG/AUS will too be there with all their precious little guns blazing

As for the team, their C class game came to the fore apparently. I mean they hadn't tasted a loss in odis for the past 3 months. Fairly confident they will come back stronger after this defeat

From a purely technical standpoint, it wouldn’t have made much sense had Pak won both the asia cup as well as the WC. If I were to choose in between the two I’d definitely go for the WC over AC any given day

Pakistani team proved how mediocre they are.
IMO following changes are needed immediately:
1) Babar Azam should be asked to gracefully resign from the captaincy. Not only that he is a poor captain but also its impacting his batting. There's no doubt he's the best batsman in the world and he should stay focused on that. Just like Kohli
2) Fakhar Zaman is done. He must be dropped
3) Shadab is now completely read and is very ineffective. We need to find new spinners. Also please get rid of Nawaz now. He cant perform in high pressure games.
4) Where are the pinch hitters? Find some
