ARY Digital is showing lots of commercials for the Asia Cup (cricket) coming next month, do any of you know if this will really be on or will it be PPV again?

Don't get too excited. They may not broadcast in North America, or at least I have my doubts. DISH Network pretty much runs the show when it comes to Cricket in North America.
I saw the advertise twice yesterday. It only suggested that they will be broadcasting Asia Cup. It didn't say if it's going to be in North America or if it's going to be live.
Well for the India-Pak matches, I know ARY was showing them... and I saw them on ATN in Canada myself... I'm hoping one of the two channels broadcasts them this time too fingers crossed... they're advertising it like craizee on ARY since last week.

Salaambhai, I am in Canada and when my satellite broke I went to a friends house who gets ATN , and all ATN did was get the rights and show the matches on ppv, and they did not show matches on their channel, the LOC series

That's exactly what I was told by ATN. Ie. they have got the rights to have it broadcasted in Canada, but won't be showing it for free. Else I was about to subscribe to ATN to watch Samsung Cup.
So the conclusion is that ARY is not showing cricket in North Amreeka?
oh well, i kinda hope that they aren't cuz i just got dish network and wanna take advantage of all the free PPVs that i get. Eventhough we do get euro 2004 on cable i still watched all the games on PPV :D

lol u just noticed that??
during the ad on ARY they say to subscribe call the 800 number. I doubt that Dish is going to let ARY show it for free
