I think Ranil had it right - if Sri Lanka comes up with its full opening bowling attack they have a slight edge.

As I'd said earlier - may the better team win... and India were definitely better today... especially after a gruelling day in the field yesterday - so all kudos to them on a well deserved win.
It's high time Pak stopped depending upon other teams to perform or screw up in order to give them a chance to proceed to the next stage. The only time I can remember the team perform consistently and on its own merit in a major tournament was the T20 World Cup last year.
^^ And the 1999 world cup. Still hurts! :(
