I think there shouldnot be bonus point system.There should only be NRR but make sure that last game is played simulatneously so that team playing last doesnt have undue advantage.

okay mate whatever floats your boat. I m against Bonus point system too but if they cant live without it, at least limit it to triangulars. I agree with that NRR and simultaneous matches thing, similar thing happened in Euro 2004.

Though i m supporting India in the final

irrespective of how all teams knew about the bogus bonus points system @ the start of the indianoil asia cup, i can’t believe u win a match and u don’t qualify for the next stage.

india should’ve achieved that bogus bonus point against us when we thrashed them closer to our 300 target not 60 runs adrift.

:insha: ] we’ll go out if this tournament with a bang by thrashing the boundous. i’ll be routing for lanka in the final against the controversial finalists the bhindians, come on murali spin ur magic mate and the upcoming youngster maharoof should do it for the bowling department.

I think the Pakistanis are right. THey should have been explained the rules of the tournament ahead of time. In fact, somepone should have made pop-up books illustrating the rules and maybe even developed some nursery rhymes to explain them to the Pakistanis. This is just plain wrong…what are the tournament organizers trying to pull here.
