The First Round matches are over. So the quarter final clashes will be:
Friday, 30th July 2004:
Uzbekistan vs. Bahrain (in Chengdu)
China vs. Iraq (in Beijing)
Saturday, 31st July 2004:
Japan vs. Jordan (in Chongiing)
South Korea vs. Iran (in Jinan)
Iraq lost to China 3-0
Poor Iraqis
The goalkeeper was sent off and they didn’t have any other goalkeeper so they had to put an ordinary player as a goalkeeper.
Bahrain won Uzbekistan - there was penalty shoot out. They won 6-5 I think.
with respoect to these developing teams, i'm not surprised that not many ppl r following this tournament as 3rd class football doesn't appeal to many

A thoroughly exciting semifinal has just ended.
Japan 4:3 Bahrain.
Japan, defending champions are through to the final after scoring in extra time.
Iran lost!
This referee is weird he gave a red card to this Iran player and also another Iranian player who was ON the bench! I wonder why he gave him a red card. What did he hear from that far? Did he understood what he said?
And that Chinese deserved a red card too but he didn’t give a red card to him. grumpy
^^Anyone watched?
It was 1-1 and extra time and they had penalty shoot out and they lost. 4-3
Now it’s Japan Vs China.
Bahrain also lost

Musalamano ke khilaaf saazish hai, aur kiya
Iran won over Bahrain. :) 4-2
Now Japan vs China.
Japan won over China 3-1.
Although one of the Japanese goal was a handball, the kuwaitee referee did not see so.
And in the Iran Vs Bahrain match two red cards were given to the Iranians and there was literally a fight
Years ago, Israel was once the champion of Asian Cup. I wonder how they would have played with the Middle East countries.
This time there was political tension between Japan and China over this particular final match and there were riots after Japan won.
Acha matches hain, par lagta hai guppies ko sirf goraon ka football acha lagta hai.
