apparently he was a super star in PSL
well guess what, he has been hammered in both games mercilessly.
anyway…some KK guppies deserve to be part of current Pakistan selection committee with such recommendations

hamara munh nahieen shookhkta yeh keh keh kar, pakistan is full of talented players ....where are they? khuramm manzoor, sharjeel, mohammd nawaz, imad waseem, ahmad shezad, and many others....you give them few chances and you can see they are not ready for international cricket.
yes they need to be given chances but guys, you can see right away that the quality is not there. really bad technique, no foot work, horrible shot selection. these are the basics that any good player would know from day 1. inzi, miandad, mohd yousaf have had them from day 1
and it goes back to the root of the problem..our domestic cricket is so pathetic with no competitiveness.

not really...most of them were picked up before playing any serious first class by chance...wasim i remember played only 2 first class matches before miandad selected him
waqar hardly played any first class and was luckily spotted by imran khan in nets..same abt inzi.
imran himself hardly played any first class in pakistan. just few matches and then he went to UK for his education and played there until 1974
but now i guess we dont have that special eye for talent or talent has completely evaporated.

Nawaz got a thrash.. no doubt. But it was stupid Afridi who brought him at the wrong time.
The first four overs by bowled by both fast bowlers..those were great.
Fifth over by Afridi, a little smacking but not much.
Sixth over given to Nawaz, instead of WAhab riaz despite seeing better fast bowling, and he was smacked all over. And thats it, a young bowler only needs one over for a young bowler to decimate his confidence.
Once again just like last match, shoaib malik was only given one over, that too 17th over where he got 3 runs and 1 wicket, identical stats in two games

but that is the point sarkar...these superstars never learnt their basics from the domestic set up. yae asman say hee garay they :)
had they spent time in our domestic set up, they would be ruined. they were lucky, got spotted pretty raw and were trained mostly in county . liked i said wasim, waqar and inzi hardly played few first class matches before they got selected for pakistan
what system produced was mansoor akhtar and harron rasheed..so much talent but our system ruined them and they were wasted and could never cope with international cricket
