i cannot say madhuri was the best actress of all time!!
To be fair to ash if u see her in " provoked" u will understand how good she is in acting department and even in raincoat or choker bali a bengali movie. Hum dil de chuke sanam and devdas etc. people have not seen her tamil movie with tabu if u had u will know how good an actress she is.
madhuri has also exposed way more than ash.. Ash has started exposing in the last 3 years or so begining with shabd.. Even when it comes to dancing she is far more graceful than madhuri.. People have short or selective memories. Some of her dances in 80's were downright vulgar.. Just watch her in the song " mera piya ghar aayaa" she looked like a prostitute and in so many movies of the 80's mads has overacted.. I remember her movie with anil kapoor's bro she over acted completely but over acting is considered good acting in those days.. What exactly phenomenal acting has madhuri done anyway.. U seriously cannot compare her to sri devi whose acting actress still copy and who was the only actress whose movie people went to see irrespective of who the lead actor is same cannot be said of both ash or mads.
