Breaking news, Mcgrath out due to ankle injury hour before the start of the match.

McGrath ruled out with ankle injury
Glenn McGrath has been ruled out of the second Test at Edgbaston after stepping on a ball during the pre-match warm-up and twisting his right ankle. He was carried off the field on a buggy and although the Australian medical team tried their best to get him fit to play he was ruled out 15 minutes before the toss. Michael Kasprowicz comes into the team after taking 5 for 67 against Worcestershire.

Englad have named an unchanged team with Chris Tremlett again returning to Hampshire and the weather at Edgbaston is overcast and dry as the captains prepare for the toss.
