Angelina Jolie has just has signed to star in the Candlelight Motion Pictures Company film The Panting Pink Panther.
Ms. Jolie will star with one of India’s most famous actresses Aishwarya Rai who is regarded by many to be the Angelina Jolie of India.
Aishwarya, who is know as Ash, won The Miss World title in 1994. In the weeks and months following the pageant, Miss Rai received a total of 18,983 marriage proposals, which is listed in the Guinness Book of World Records.

Six of the marriage proposals came from presidents of countries, four were from famous movie stars, one was from David Letterman, and one was from a seven foot tall NBA basketball player.
In the Benigno Luigi Montemarciano directed film, Jolie and Rai play French twin sisters who visit Bombay, India to open up a hair saloon for the extremely rich.
Without giving to much of the plot away, one of their clients is one of the world’s wealthiest women, the Russian heiress to all of Siberia, Svetlana Stanislav, who is the owner of the famous Pink Panther diamond.

Also starring in the Montemarciano film will be Al Pacino, Sandra Bullock, Rani Mukherjee, Camilla Parker-Bowles, Priety Zinta, and Miley Cyrus.
The movie will be filmed in various locations throughout India including Calcutta, Bombay, New Delhi, and Mumbai. Several in-door scenes will be shot in Indianapolis, Indiana.
