Any one’s travel plans being affected by volcanic ash cloud this year?

we travelled last year around the cloud time and luckily no problems...hope there will be no problems for people this year altho' flights have been delayed today...

Trouble has just started and lets see how far it goes this time, heard them saying already that situation is worst than what they initially thought . LHR, CDG, AMS and FRA still operating normal.
I was lucky last year. Travelled through europe a week before the cloud and then two weeks after flight operations were back to normal. However, some friends faced severe problems and in addition to overnight sleeps in transit, had to drive hours on rented cars to reach homes. Also heard from some taxi drivers that they made in thousands from their customers for long distance rides across europe.
