Asfandyar warns against SC-govt tug-of-war

If CJ don't stop melding with the Executive and the situation went towards same as before, then a bullet is perfect !

Sure lets start it from the beginning - what was the actually reference sent to SJC by Musharraf??.. Don't remember, well let me and one of it was: The love of protocol and luxury cars.. etc..etc

So ask CJ if it's oki for him to travel in the Suzuki - probably he will start a "tehreek" again !.. you never know !

Re: Asfandyar warns against SC-govt tug-of-war

Protocol, where necessary is fine. Chief Justice is at par with other high ranking executives, and should be given proper protocol and security. But that does not mean every other minister has to have a parade of gas guzzlers everytime he feels like he wants to visit local grocery shop. (keeping in mind, the public is paying for their gas/petroleum and quite possibly for the patrol of his "entourage"...such things are hidden until and audit is done)

There is a huge difference.

So when the CJ will grow the balls (if he have any) and open the cases on:

1) NRO
2) Missing Persons
3) Musharraf

any time frame? :)

oh bullet walay bhai, please don't tell me you are Taliban supporter. Let me ask you, did CJ tell PM/President to cut short the huge ship of ministers? Did CJ tell govt to install power generators to meet electrcity demands? Did CJ tell president to cut short his number of foreign visits? CJ is NOT meddling in executive, SC is providing the check we need against the government.

What about Lawyers bars fund which government provide every year? and the hefty amount of money Lawyers like Aitraz made every year - count them all it will sum up to some billions - a lost money

so should i wait for the same report from Baghwandas on this issue with figures & names.. that this person made only 600 million rupees this year??? :konfused:

CJ don't have any authority in these matters same way he don't have any on what tax government should collect and which company is making how much money - if these oil companies are making money from not legal ways then sure SC can cry about it - else they don't suppose too

...and the Presidential Ordinance was according to Constitution .. then whats the problem?

if we start doing comparisons of lawyers’ spending (provided by Govt.) vs. the spending of corrupt ministers (at whim, and often by fraud/defaulting loans), you will faint.

lets compare top 25 lawyers of the nation and politician's - you will be fainted too

:)

Re: Asfandyar warns against SC-govt tug-of-war

define "top"!

top paid? top performers? top what exactly?

Top chichoras. Let's start with chupkali (kurd).

No kurd is fair guy - nothing against him - people like kurd or commonly known in politicians as "karkun" !

jo perform kartey hain.. wohi top pey hote hain na.. ;)

It is & that is what govt is trying to do, but it seems like CJ wants to stay in headlines, and is trying to put road blocks everywhere he can.

If CJ doesn’t have authority then why is government is even listening? :hehe: Dude, I don’t want to get into technicality here, the SC has put a stay order on the tax not because CJ didn’t like the tax so its not him meddling in govt affairs.

The problem? :cb: President should not issue ordinance against something SC has a stay order, not for “legality” but to avoid confrontation/crisis-making.

No, the government is increasing tax net without focusing on its institutions' performance. Govt creates 20 taxes with 20-30% revenue collection on each, instead of that government should levy tax on 5 items with 80-90% collection, thats my point.

Is that why we have so many corrupt politicians at “top” ? :rotfl:
