Asad Rauf joins his colleague Aleem Dar and now 2 of the umpires from the ICC Elite Panel are from Pakistan. Lets hope both of them continue to perform well in future as well.

:) Great to see another Pakistani umpire in the elite panel. He is a really good umpire and he definitely deserved the position. MashAllah, good for him.
Also, Fkhan bhai, I thank you deeply for all the videos/highlights you provide for the current Cricket series being played.
Umer
Do they have some kind of ranking/feedback/accountability system for bad umpires? I will like to see a few names kicked off from the elite panel. Hopefully, over time they will gather enough negative feedback from the teams to be taken off.
Ashoka Desilva was one umpire I really wanted to be kicked out. Glad he was out from the panel last year.
From this panel I really would like Hair to be kicked out.
Billy Bowden is one umpire I don't think has done enough to get this spot.
Captain, yes it was Ghouri, following the footsteps of hariharan. I am sure it was his attempt to impress ICC in order to get his name in the elite panel.
Well done Asad Rauf. Apart from his controversial 3rd umpire decision that went in favour of Salman Butt against England last year, he has been pretty impressive.
^^ cheegum bhai, I would say that is one mistake that he made, apart from Lbw, which can be tricky, and lets not forget umpires are human too, they didnt made the mistakes the Australian and Saffies umpires have made during the Pak vs. England series with the exception of Simon Taufel, he is the closest thing we can get to track-o-meter which tracks the ball direction.
