Voting for Kashmir’s complete independence.
Re: As if it matters
Seeing the abundance of responses here, I concur nope it does not matter, not at all.
Re: As if it matters
Kashmir has lead to decades of bloodshed. Neither Pakistan, nor India, will ever give-up on Kashmir. Giving Kashmir it's complete independence would end this bloodshed, violence, and constant source of conflict between India and Pakistan.
Re: As if it matters
restored peace and serenity in kashmir matters.
Re: As if it matters
restored peace and serenity in kashmir matters.
Few decades would be sufficient to do that, one would think.
Re: As if it matters
^ ofcourse. had that been the will of those involved and those that can make it possible. but for the last few decades, there's a fight for power being played out in the region, be it the indians, pakistanis, or others; not one for peace.
Re: As if it matters
I vote for Kashmir’s complete dependence. They will be better off with India. Look how well it’s doing. Aligning with Pakistan only means adding to the ongoing political turmoil and economic debauchery. So have some sympathy for Kashmiris..let them go to the side that’s best in their interest. ![]()
Re: As if it matters
^ Yeah and of course an overseas Pakistani knows best what is in the best interest of those Kashmiris...dude, they need to hold an election and let those folks decide what they want to do... India, Pakistan, Independent
Re: As if it matters
kaleem, you know very well democracy is haram in islam so why are you even trying? ![]()
Re: As if it matters
Oh I dont know maybe only a couple of generations removed Kashmiri blood may have something to do with that....
Re: As if it matters
kaleem, it's ok to have kashmiri blood in you. no shame in that. don't let anyone tell you different. all bloods are equal except the hiv +ve ones.
Re: As if it matters
If the bloods are equal so are the rights to decide your own fate....
Re: As if it matters
Well, if I could have my way, I would make the entire Kashmir a part of Pakistan. Of course, India would never agree to that. Thus, the second option would be to have an independent state (as much as I dislike division of land). A free election by the people of Kashmir in deciding their own fate would be the best solution perhaps.
Re: As if it matters
Mush sold Kashmir along with his soul to the Devil...It's about Pakistanis give up on Kashmir...with secular degenerates in charge no strategic gain would ever come Pakistan's way...
Re: As if it matters
While I think everyone can agree to give Kashmiris a right of self-determination, I am not convinced that they will necessarily be better off as an independent country. They are land locked with little by way of natural resources to make them even close to self-sustaining. Of course, if the people of Kashmir decide to go it alone, more power to them, my guess is they'll think they are better off with one or the other (Pak or India).

Pakistan better not be selling anything to the devil.
And that reminds me, aren't most of the elections in Pakistan rigged anyway.
Re: As if it matters
india should give kashmir to pakistan on musharraf's wedding anniversary.
Re: As if it matters
It's very unlikely that Musharraf is playing a big role in this kind of decision making; the whole team that is behind him is responsible for what's happening. So getting back to Kashmir....the other option would be that Pakistan and India can keep what they have and establish peace. However, the question remains, what do the people of Kashmir truely want?

& as if it matters what Kashmiri people want? (if it would, this matter wouldnt have started at all.)

Najim,
The goal is not to oppress the people of Kashmir and force your rule upon them. This may work in the short-term, but usually the oppressed strike back. The voice of the people of Kashmir should be heard by both Pakistan and India.
