I need some really quick and easy ways to memorize some stuff. I have to memorize a 20 page article, and 48 review questions that could pop up on one of my exams…any tips?
“Allah extends His Hand at night so that He can forgive the sinner of the day; He extends His Hand in the day so that He can forgive the sinner of the night. He will continue to do so until the sun rises from the West (the Day of Judgment)”
But its better to relate what your learning to things that you can easily remember then it just becomes joining the dots. I did the same for my Humanities exam and aced it, even answered the question that was omitted.
Jitna Diya Sarkar Nay Mujko, Itni Meri Auqat Nahi, Yeh Saab Tumhara Karam Hai Aqa, Mujh Mein Aisi Koi Baat Nahin.
“Allah extends His Hand at night so that He can forgive the sinner of the day; He extends His Hand in the day so that He can forgive the sinner of the night. He will continue to do so until the sun rises from the West (the Day of Judgment)”
pneumonics is the answer. sadly it will be kinda unfeasable to make a pneumonic for a 20 page article. my chem teacher in class 10 once made a pneumonic for some important elements in order of decreasing reactivity:
PoSoCaMAlZILHyCuMS <- read as spelt.
it stands for Potassium Sodium Calcium Magnesium Aluminum Zinc Iron Lead Hydrogen Copper Mercury Silver (see! i remember this even after 6 yrs !!)
the best way is to take it paragraph by paragraph and just RATTA. i hate RATTA. im not a RATTA man. but only once in my life i did do a RATTA. it was in class 7 in a history course. and the RATTA did work. i spent 2 days cramming up 28 pages. and it worked miracles. but it was evil. and i will never do that ever again!
I think its best to start studying a few days a ahead, also take breaks otherwise you might think your focused but your really not, take breaks munch on snacks, and try to study in moderation and not cram the info.
I hear ya najim. I don’t understand why the exam is structured this way. You would think the prof would want you to talk about what you learned–in your own words instead of just repeating word for word what the text says!
“Allah extends His Hand at night so that He can forgive the sinner of the day; He extends His Hand in the day so that He can forgive the sinner of the night. He will continue to do so until the sun rises from the West (the Day of Judgment)”
i hate rattafication, its just like some parrot speaking ur language without knowing the meanings.
according to me the best way is just read wht u wanna learn atleast 3 times,& then explain it in ur words,it sure is a great way for me,got some really good marks in 12th standard by using this way.
best of luck for ur examz.
