The same happens with prime tv too! Don't know if it is perchance or deliberate but at times most of the 7 plays aired in a week share their cast. You can hardly tell what play you are watching.
That Thigna guy with fuzzy hair on the forehead is in every other drama. He acts the same way too. Same kind of roles. Pakistan sux.

Vaisay its weird that a govt owned channel would show some of the vidoes that are shown considering the standards that are practised on ptv. I heard many of these videos are not aired or not aired uncensored in pakistan on prime or ptv.
WHat videos are you talking about?. I havent seen anything worth censoring. I take it back. I think the whole damn video should be censored. Such pathetic quality.
There is this one they show with javed sheikh's younger bro and this girl from one of fakhirs video, I think Mohini from prime post. The get pretty cosy in the video. A few more too.
well, it seems what they do, is they take a drama from usually one tv centre - so most of prime tv's dramas are from the lahore centre - and dramas from each city usually feature the same actors and actresses -mainly because there are so many tv channels and hence dramas to be produced and so few actors and actresses.
There is a high number of new actors and actresses, but very few of them make it - most are just models who try to act, but they can't.
I don't know what city ARY takes its dramas from, although from what I understand that the pakistani studio of the channel is based in Karachi.
And yes, actors do go back and forth between different cities to do their shootings, and yes there is also Islamabad centre and Peshawar centre where dramas come from. But even then, if actor X lives in city Y, they will work more in dramas produced in city Y, because of convenience.
Femme - i saw that one the other day on Prime TV! I agree - those two were getting a little too close. Even I was surprised.

In Pakistani films there is a lot of touching, holding, hugging between the opposite sexes and all those films are shown on PTV. Then why is there such a big deal if some of that closeness is carried on to dramas on the small screen.
