Why are they so indianish and crappy?? I remember the good old days when Dramas were so nice like dhuan and chand sa mukhra and arosa and all these other ones that i cant remember right now.

Please don't forget GEO is no different. Both ARY and GEO are way too busy churning out one trashy drama after another.

You have to keep in mind that with all the new channels, there is a need for more dramas. So, you're going to get inexperienced people making dramas as well as experienced. You'll be seeing a great deal of trash, and very few worthy to note dramas. But I think its getting somewhat better. I think drama people know people want a story with substance that has great dialogue and good performances.

yeah but whats up with the tons of makeup and jewelry and saris? It never used to be like that. I remember back then dramas would start trends, now its like crap.
