The word ‘Digital’ in ARY is deceptive and misleading, at least us in the northeren hamisphere recieving ligit signals through our respective SP either from Dishnet, Direct TV, or Rogers are ashamed to watch cricket coverage from Pakistan in this modren era of technology.
Picture quality is poor and as bad as it gets, sound quality is variable and poor.
Soon after this pethatic ARY-Ten Sports coverage, we get to see the streaming top class video coverage from half way across the world either side from SA and Australia.
Ch-9 / Trans-World Sports coverage of the game is commendable and innovative by recently adding ‘New snick Tracker’ ‘Hot Spot’ and ‘Hawkeye’ tools to the presentation. This is beside their top class graphics and picture quality.
ARY-Ten Sports seems to have stood Frozen stiff in time without any realization at all. We get to see analouge quality over digital transmission and the clash creates the worst quality one can imagin.

Excellent thread. For last few days since i could compare the covergae of Ind vs SA and Aus vs Eng with Pak vs WI, on CBN, I was talking same issue but had no clue if our complaint will do anything to any service that come from sub continent and especially from a muslim management.
If any one of you watch ARY on Bell, you could see same thing, pathetic news castors, irregular advertisement. Abrut ending of programs, mostly news. It seems like they have kids sitting in the studio and whenever they like they play an ad or new program, no timing, nothing. It was all happening during Ramadan and even now and then.
I sincerely hope someone else will come to take over the north american (Canadian) market from ARY.

I remember opening a thread on the unprofessional coverage of cricket in Pakistan a while back. Things haven't changed after 4 years. That's so typical Pakistani.
As a big fan of test cricket, I have been following the Ashes on TV since 1999 and I have to say that I don't care what match is being played in Pakistan, I will always tune into Channel 9s network for absorbing cricket. The way they produce their coverage it beats any drama, film or theatre. This my friends is the way cricket should be inhaled into your bodies through your eyes and ears.
Dont worry, we have a member of ARY family here, if she sees the title, she is gona definatly to defend ARY lol no matter how many logical arguments u give to prove urself right.

Because you will continue to subscribe to it, no matter how bad the quality is. For a long time, their sound would not go along with the mouths moving. Felt like watching a Honk Kong martial arts movie.
Words that fit to the likes ARY and GEO telecasting Cricket "Clueless Board of Directors (if they've any) undertrained and overstrained Technical Staff and to top it all: The absolutely Crappy Commentators "A garbage Production". It's Sad waste of Telecasting rights, the Production equipment and the Money that's put into it.
And when it comes to Ten Sports i'd like to call their coverage "Nice Try but still Decades away"
Since we desi's r used to the likes of PTV (atleast the elder generation) we tend to accept that crap dished out by the above mentioned TV Channels
If u like to see Professionals at work then have a look at Sky UKs or Channel-9 Coverage or as mentioned in a post above.
I have all the latest TV / broadcasting kit - I get stunning audio & pictures - except when I tune into ARY - heavy pixellation / screetchy audio / keep getting a 'green screen' every 30 mins for a second or 2 / sound is currently going high pitch-low pitch & the idiots at ARY dont seemed to have noticed for the last 2 days.
