why so much silence about ARY? Is this forum dominated by Amrikans?
We have countless posts on Prime. I’m opening this as an open discussion forum to evaluate the shows and style of ARY. You can compare and contrast with other channels, or whatever.
Comon - lets hear about ARY.
It’ll be some good advice for the USA guppies when ARY expands out here.

Even if Ary Digital comes to USA I hope they are not part of Dish Network programming. Because they will be a sellout just like Prime TV by not showing cricket matches.
Btw friends in UK, do they show cricket on ARY Digital or is it just crap like Prime TV here in USA.
Dude, isn't there something about Pay Per View or the Dish Network only being allowed to show cricket matches? I do not know of Indian channels that show cricket matches. I think its one of those things that you have to purchase to see the game....that isn't Prime or ARY's fault.
If they could show it, they would. They know there is a big cricket following abroad. There's probably something blocking them.
What is it that can block Prime TV from showing cricket and can't block Zee TV, TV Asia or Sony for showing cricket

Stop whining we GET you point that you want PTVV to show matches! Paisay kharcho and watch it on PPV. Zee TV can afford as Zee is a rich channel....
I don't know much about Ztv or their license agreement of showing
cricket but I've been following this board for quiet some time and it
seems that Zee only showed Marroco cup and one other. So this
makes me believe that that Dish doesn't give them rights to show
major leagues and cups. Like the triangular series that's goin'
on now, or sharjah or the upcomming Pak VS. Aus matches.
Dish management only sells those series that they know not many
will purchase on Pay-Per view.
As far as Prime not showing Cricket is concerned then there is only
one reason and that is that it's the only Pakistani channel in North
America and if they DO put on cricket, not many people will be happy
as to 8 hours of cricket will interupt their daily programing. Get one
thing that not every one is fan of cricket. Majority of our females
AREN't, that's for sure. So if get ARY by next year and some other
private channel, one of them is likely to air cricket.

Umair, prime is not meant for showing cricket matches... This is not the PTV like we have in Pakistan...
Urgh...we were talking about ARY, not Prime's sports problem...

The best thing about ARY was their eid-ul-fitr transmission last time... Where they interviewed british Pakistanis on the streets etc... That was too good... Apart from that, the worst show they ever put was that drama in which aminah haq played twins, reminded me of those indian dramas on zee!!!

Dr. A Zulfi bhai, I guess you haven’t been following cricket matches in North America for so long.
When Zee TV first started in 98, when it was the only desi channel in N America, they showed Sharjah Cup and couple other tournaments.
In 99 they showed Asia Cup 99.
They showed regular highlihgts of WC 99 everyday.
They used to show old cricket match highlights. None of them which Prime TV even does.
Prime TV is the only Pakistani channel in USA, and they don’t show what matters the most to Pakistan and believe me its not Landad Bazaar or Sur Street but cricket.
They can gain more audience from cricket than showing the reruns of that lame show called Family Front.
Their ratings and subscribers will be higher, and I’m preety sure their male audience will appreciate watching cricket than watching Bandhan! 
Majority of the audience are Pakistanis and majority of them love cricket like you and me. Zee shows live cricket matches during the day and their audience have no complain.
Usually live cricket matches are shown at night time after mid night and that shouldn’t disturb Prime Tvs 2nd class lineup at all.
well, that was when zee first opened, are they still showing those matches with so much frequency?
Perhaps they were allowed to at one time, but now they are not.
I'm sure youve tried e-mailing prime, and believe me , if they can do it, they will. I sent them a whole bunch of recommendations, and it took them some time, but they are showing some stuff that I wanted.
